OK. This might sound stupid but it's a huge deal for me. It means that I can use Apple Notes to take handwritten notes with the Pencil. This is literally a game changer for me. Taking handwritten notes is a huge thing for me but my handwriting on something unlined is atrocious (I can at least read it myself when it's lined; half the time if it's not even I can't.)
When I actually use my hand to write something, especially if it's something I want to do or should remember it helps me to actually remember it. Handwritten notes about things I want to blog about or changes I want to make or projects I want to start mean they might actually happen. Just as an example of how bad this is for me when I get excited about something, in the time it took to get from the idea to opening an editor to write this, I completely spaced on what I was going to write. Thankfully I remembered before I decided to call it a night.
