Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Description: A staple in our house these are delicious muffins that help us use the bananas that have started turning too brown to eat as is.

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a large bowl mix all-purpose flour (1 3/4 c), sugar (3/4 c), baking powder (1 tsp), baking soda (1 tsp), and salt (1/2 tsp).
In a separate bowl mix egg (1), vegetable oil (1/2 c), milk or yogurt (1/2 c), and vanilla extract (1 tsp).
Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until moistened. Do not over mix.
Fold in bananas (1 c), and chocolate chips (3/4).
Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake in the preheated oven for 22 m until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool for 5 m on a wire rack before removing from muffin cups.
