render-engine is a project I started contributing to during the PyCon US
2025 Sprints. It is a static site generator, written in Python.
The project was started by Jay Miller, founder of Black Python Devs when he realized that their website was actually in Ruby and that should change. He gets somewhat into the philosophy of the project in this blog post.
