A few days ago I wrote a blog post about NaN. I then shared that in the Python Discord, since that's where the conversation that triggered the blog post happened, and I got nerd sniped into writing a talk proposal for it. This has led me down something of a rabbit hole, in a good way. I now know I have enough material for a 30 minute talk slot. I could probably find enough material for a 45 minute slot, if need be.
But that's not what I want to talk to you about - sorry for the bait and switch. PyOhio is a regional conference happening in Cleveland the last weekend of July and I plan on going. They open their CFP up on Sunday, March 8 and I plan on offering this (and 2 other) talk for their consideration. And I wanted to take a minute to suggest that you might also have things you want to talk about. Things that you think the Python community would find interest in. If you do and can be in Cleveland for that weekend I recommend you make them an offer (of a talk) that they can't refuse.
